The room smelled musty and unclean upon arrival, which was disappointing. We also found there were no linens for the pull-out couch, making it difficult to manage our children's needs. The breakfast options were unappetizing. the eggs looked almost orange and the sausage was rubbery. It felt like the hotel had deteriorated since our last visit.

I had a decent stay at the Wingate in Bismarck. The room was clean and spacious, which made it comfortable. I appreciated the single cup coffee maker. great coffee in the morning. The breakfast offered a nice variety, but I was hoping for more gluten-free options. The staff I encountered were polite and responsive. However, I faced some issues. The pool area could use better maintenance. There were some visible areas that looked neglected. The hot tub didn't warm up during my stay, which was disappointing since I was looking forward to relaxing there. I also noticed some sticky spots in the hallway, which seemed like they hadn’t been cleaned thoroughly. The main lobby was not as welcoming. I saw litter on the floor when I arrived. It felt like there needed to be more attention to keeping common areas clean, especially with the current emphasis on hygiene. The front desk service was efficient, but it could improve in terms of addressing issues like the cleanliness of shared spaces. Overall, while I enjoyed parts of my stay, a little more care in cleaning and maintenance would go a long way.

Good for a couple on a budget

The shower was nice and they had good shampoo provided which was a pleasant surprise. I gotta admit the king size bed was comfy but the sheets came off right away which was a bit annoying.

It wasn’t inexpensive but still satisfactory.

The indoor swimming pool and jacuzzi were pure bliss after a long day! I enjoyed a clean and spacious King Room with all the comforts you could wish for. The breakfast spread was delicious, with plenty of options to jumpstart my mornings!
